WARNING:
This document is not for public comment or ballot period beginning December 21, 2007.

A Draft of the National Green Building Standard™ (Version #1, August 10, 2007) is available for public comment starting August 10, 2007 through September 24, 2007. Comments on the entire document are accepted. A second public comment period is planned to start in October of 2007 after the Consensus Committee meets in Washington, DC. Note that point values assigned to individual green building practices in the Standard and performance threshold level values in Chapter 3 will also be included in the second public comment period in October 2007.  Provisions of the Standard related to additions and renovations will also be included in the second public comment period.

Please submit all comments using the Public Comment Form available below. Submission instructions are provided on the Form.

All appeals will be processed in accordance with the NAHB Research Center standards development procedures that can be found at www.nahbrc.org/gbstandard.
