Senior Research Analyst

Then look no further: The NAHB Research Center is now hiring a Senior Research Analyst to work in our Market Research Division.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct secondary research of topics related to diffusion of innovation and new technology commercialization
  • Follow formal project management procedures; follow formal government grantee procedures
  • Responsible for maintaining project budgets
  • Assist the Market Research Division with its custom research projects, both quantitative and qualitative
  • Draft proposals, reports, and presentations
  • Model data using methods such as regression, perceptual mapping, conjoint analysis, etc
  • Conduct qualitative research, such as focus groups and interviews

Required skills:

  • Masters degree in a marketing or business discipline is preferred, but bachelors with relevant experience is acceptable
  • Minimum three years experience in consulting or research environment preferred
  • Possess a statistical/multivariate methods background
  • Demonstrate strong writing skills suitable for grants, proposals, reports, and presentations
  • Ability to run SPSS applications and compile data
  • Be familiar with or willing to learn qualitative methodologies – design, data collection and analysis, particularly in projects where both quantitative and qualitative may be required
  • Understanding of basic new product development theory and practice
  • Be familiar with, or have an interest in, residential construction
  • Project environment experience preferred
  • Experience working in dynamic, cross-functional teams
